About Peggy
Hello, Welcome to Beautiful North Dakota! That’s my usual greeting when I meet someone who has never been to our great state. I was born and raised in rural McKenzie County. I moved away as a young girl for 10 years, and as they say there is no place like HOME.
I am an LPN who works in the Human Resource Department for McKenzie County Healthcare Systems. Prior to this position I worked in the clinic for 20 years.
My husband Scott and I live in the Banks community where we raise small grains and have a cow/calf operation. We have 4 children, 3 girls and 1 boy who are grown and on their own and 2 busy grandchildren who live in Watford City, Hello Gracie Rose and Judd.
I am involved in our County 4-H program as a leader and youth is my passion. I enjoy seeing them learn, grow and become responsible adults. I have been teaching quilting to community youth for the past 6 years. I am also involved with our local Chamber of Commerce and Fair Board. We have exciting plans for the future.
I am busy with many projects and most people say to me ” do you ever sleep?” Yes I do, I just have so much that I want to do and that keeps me going.
Should you ever stop in our beautiful community my door is always open for a cup of coffee or just to visit.
Blessings to you.
