About journalistdale
As a kid, I watched other kids drink the afternoon milk they could afford and I couldn’t. I recall that cute little carton cost 10 cents.
I’m an une
mployed journalist of five-plus years experience and a pastor’s wife who wears many ‘hats.’ Those hats include the red one of the Red Hat Society group, the Dakota Red Hots, the president of Alexander’s Legion Auxiliary, the vice-president and president-elect of my Ladies Aid Circle at Arnegard, and Steering Committee member of McKenzie County Horizons program. I am my family’s videographer who provides grieving families with a video record of their loved one’s funeral service as a gift from my husband and me.
My journalist role was cut short by a bicycle accident that severely injured by left shoulder in August 2007. I’m half way through a six-month recuperation period for a rotator cuff injury and its subsequent surgical repair. The physical therapy professionals at the McKenzie County Hospital have been capably restoring my strength and range of motion. Perhaps I’ll search for employment sometime in March.
